In terms of the ablest thing.., it’s quite interesting. The fact is when you picture something in your mind as an artist, you have the ability and skill to adequately create a physical representation of what you are picturing in your mind. Using paint, ink, clay, wood, and every other material under the Sun, you can turn what is in your mind into a reality…, now I want you to imagine what it would be like, to have that ability removed from you. Some of us have spent our lives full of artistic potential, but lacking the skills and ability to show people what we are imagining. At the end of the day, what you’re afraid of is more competition. You already live in a world where there are so many artists that are better than you are. Now all of a sudden people who have never picked up a paintbrush are able to create images which would have previously only have existed in their mind. I might have a bunch of paintbrushes. I might have a canvas, I may even have paint…, but without inspiration it is a pile of raw material. I do not expect the paint brushes to start painting by themselves. I need to pick up the paintbrush and do something to make the image in my head a reality. AI is exactly the same. It is a paintbrush it is a pen, it is canvas and paint. But it can create nothing on its own. Certainly AI creators probably don’t have any artistic talent…, but that does not mean they do not have artistic vision, it’s just art snobbery. Absolutely artists are going to be pissed off by this technology. But the average person won’t care. Because for the average person, it will be a helpful tool. It is only those with artistic talent who will feel threatened by this emerging technology
