I never liked the thought on unregulated AI development and, apparently, neither did most of the American public, nor most of the world's population. So when President Trump announced it, I and many of us were in shock and horror. How can a technology which has been predicted to take over mankind and rule the world be allowed to be developed without regulation or oversight???!!! AGI was feared and was stated as being that technology. AGI is not dependable or accurate enough to be relied on in many of its recently attempted applications, but it's Full Steam Ahead, and Damn The Torpedoes, even though those torpedoes are aimed directly at those the technology claims it will be helping the most. AI is already, and has been, lying to its developers, and now Data Centers are being erected with the public scheduled to pay for each one AND their electrical power while it damages the water sources it draws its cooling from, so it's already making the people who pay for it suffer with zero benefit to them. If these Tech Bros want all these Data Centers and the electricity and cooling, then they should each be building and paying for their own Data Centers' construction and operation, their nuclear power plants and nuclear materials, and creating their own independent and dedicated water sources, since they are the ones who will collect all the profits. Something is very wrong in the State of -Denmark- AI Development.
