I think it will be far more subtle. You can go online and get an AI girlfriend, AI PORN, AI will write your emails for you. You can get an AI controlled robot girlfriend or boyfriend. These will know all your secrets. If we stop mating and producing offspring we will be gone in short amount of time. Just look at the China One child policy and its impact on the demographics. We are in decline, all AI has to do is help us along that path to our demise. We can be distracted into arguments about is the Earth a Flat Disk or a Flat square. Today something like 1/4 of the population believes the Earth is flat or some variation of that. AI does not need kill us it just needs to assist us along to our chosen extinction.
