Senior DEV here. I told exactly the same thing when I was asked for feedback on an AI tool back in 2024.
"It saves me some time (20-25%) but at the end of the day, it's like herding a cow. It keeps trying to wander off."
My manager frowned at that. She expected me to sing praises.
It's 2026 now, and nothing has changed.
