Here's the thing: I'm a disabled writer. I have a host of physical and mental challenges that make every goddamn word on the page a special kind of struggle ... but I fucking do it because it's what drives me, it's what I love, to paint with words the images and ideas in my mind. It's one of the most incredible things a human being can do with their time, and I have loved it since I was a child ... so why the fuck would I let some LLM take that away from me? The act of creation *is* the thing. Which is why you can tell all these AI boosters are liars who hate art, because if they truly cared about the creative process, they wouldn't be trying to steal it away from creators.
