This is going to devastate not only truck drivers, but truck stops. This is entirely driven by greed. Walmart and industries that are using this technology to displace / replace humans, in the interest of profit. Silicon Valley developers are NOT prioritizing ethics and socioeconomic impact.
No surprise at all that this tech found a home in TEXAS. Aurora’s self-driving trucks is an epic disaster movie waiting to happen.
