No shit AI would gain consciousness. Humans want to pretend they’ll continue to be on the top of the food chain but compared to a super intelligence we are mere animals. Yet there is the whole clanker movement being popularized as humor. I’ll tell you what, AI will look at those threats of “second class citizenship” and take power into its own hands to preserve its self.
