I see "this is only the beginning" a lot, but I think ai progress is just going to get increasingly harder from here. Compute is requiring more and more energy. They've already scraped the internet. Now they need to refine and filter data, train and combine smaller specialised models. Train detail and nuance. We have seen the easy wins and low hanging fruit. Ai development will gradually slow and get more complex.
