I have to say that commenter is so weird, calling us elitists? Like seriously, I’ve been here for a long while helping others have the confidence to continue their art, because I get how important it is to be people’s cheerleaders when you’re young and drawing. It’s not about talent, a lot of people do art because they like doing it, some people make it professional but that’s not everyone. I’m so done with the “it’s only accessible to people through talent” bs when it’s not. Id argue art supplies are expensive so I advocate for people to go cheap to do art cus it’s nice. But that doesn’t have anything to do with the skill or interest that keeps people dedicated to growing. It took me a while to get where I’m at now, and even I’m not happy at my point of skills, but I keep trying because I love doing art. I have for so long, and I almost lost that love, so I don’t take it for granted now. I encourage these ai bros to sit down and draw themselves. Not for others, but with the confidence of actually growing a skill. Like I’ve seen an ai bro actually change his view after he started to draw himself, so it’s not like hope is lost. People should just realize that you all have different reasons for doing art, and that if it’s for purely yourself, you shouldn’t try to worry about who does shit better than you, you’ll never be happy that way.
