As a digital AND traditional artist, they both take pretty much the same amount of skill, and the basics transfer over. The only difference is learning the quirks of your specific medium (mixing and generally working with paints for painting, layering for colored pencils, lineweight and steady hands for pens, and, yes, doing your best to make sure your digital art doesn't look bad because rendering on digital is genuinely insane.) These "AI Artists" are just salty because they know they wouldn't be able to draw a stick figure on paper, but give a digital artist a pencil and they're fine.
