I'm one of the minority here.
I actually don't mind AI and this video shows why. AI did generate that image, but it also inspired a lot of artists to make their own version of it (one guy even used the color palette to make his own character!)
I personally use it to help me find some inspiration for making characters or help me visualize what a book character looks like.
