I feel like the Internet and things like Wikipedia were the boogyman two decades ago. And yet people figured out what it was good for and what it wasn't, and it continues to excel in some things and help many people, and it didn't take over everything.
Same with AI tools - it will really help in some places, and either it will be able to make amazing pieces of art, thus being a great tool for great artists to make better art, or it will never make something 'as good' and thus won't compete.
I can understand upset feelings, but I don't think they are warranted - people will adapt to technology, and continue to thrive.
