I've never used an AI image generator. I've only ever bought commissions whenever I needed art for like a d&d character or a scene from a story I'm writing.
Yet I feel ashamed of all those commissions I bought when I hear anti-AI arguments like this because on a personal level, those same arguments work against commissioners too. I could have drawn them myself if I had spent the past 15 years practicing. Just as an AI bro could have drawn the image instead of generating it, I could have drawn it instead of buying it. The artwork I'm left with is just as unearned.
