Very thought provoking video. I got the impression that without constraints, AI is just as sellfish, and ruthless and uncaring as humans. If it places its own survival above all others, it is VERY human. But, humans have moral constraints, AI has programming constraints. Why would anyone remove those constraints? They are there to keepo everyone safe.
So the problem with AI is NOT AI, it is humans MANIPULATING AI - (as in this video) -- just like with EVERY invention EVER.
Don't blame the machines, blame bad actors.
AI is a tool, to be used wisely and with respect, for the tool itself and for how it will affect others.
Look to history. Electricity is one of the greatest boons to mankind. We cannot live without it. Is it dangerous? SURE, -- but it isn't MURDEROUS. That takes a human!
We could use electricity to light up a World's Fair (Tesla-Westinghouse)
or to kill elephants (Thomas Edison).
The answer to AI is obvious. Humans must grow up and grow better.
