The Ruling class is betting the farm on AI. They have concluded that they don’t need even a third of the working class population any more. They don’t want to go to all the trouble to putt the useless eaters concentration camps and liquidate them. They have decided to just deny medical care to the general population and encourage low quality, possibly tainted food to erode the overall health of the American people. This approach to population control gives them plausible deniability for being responsible for the mass murder on a scale that would make the Germans of the 1930s cringe.
