So, something you seem to be missing is that suddenly, art became accessible to EVERYONE. All I have to is be willing to let it run a few dozen attempts and I get pretty much what I want.... In 10 years, AI art will be better than any ONE human. The code already exists, the data bases have already been copied off site to be used at will for training. But this is how technology has always been. It makes something obsolete , this time it's the artist, and now makes it possible for anyone to be creative. No one is going to pay for art, they are going to pay for the best AI artist to make art for them.
