Disabled fiber artist here. One thing worth mentioning I think is that art and crafting are both incredibly popular pastimes in our community - it is very frequently far more accessible as a hobby than more physically intensive activities. Yeah, sometimes there are days when even that is too much, but like. For a lot of disabled folks, art is kind of the thing to do to bring yourself joy and a sense of accomplishment. Automating that with a computer program is taking that from us too.
