I’m sorry but you can’t rely on advanced cruise control or “auto pilot” completely to drive a car. There’s so many predictive things that the human’s as experienced drivers can see and pick up to avoid a crash or lessen the impact of a crash that a computers/machine learning with sensors could not up at this moment of technology.
In saying this laser sensor would have been able to pick this overturned truck and avoided or minuses the impact of this crash that caused a fatality.
