Taxation of AI to feed the welfare state will balance this partially out. Or there will be a war on AI, no matter what the companies dream of. And it will work, because companies are losing their customers with AI, this is an effect that kicks in, when people are broke. Governments, too, are losing their income streams. AI will be income taxed to nearly human worker equivalent.
