I agree, subbed by the way. I finished some experimental graphic bachelor degree in 2008 with game design as topic, never did anything with it in my country. Only 2 companies and I was young, unfocussed and simply not good enough. Dad now with very little time, I 3d model for printing, I love action figures, that's my passion. I hate learning, have to ask my therapist to look into that. I use AI to generate stuff which I get inspired from to make a new armor plate or demon arm on one of my base models. But it's insane that without concept peoples work are being used. It's so simple I generated a cool dark designer toy, very unique looking and highly detailed, then with 2d>3d I generated it into an STL, then cut the arms so they can rotate and now I have a cool grungy designer figure on my desk. I did not draw a single line, move a single vertex (except the arm cutting of course) but I just kept hitting Generate untill I thought, that image is cool, lets see how far we can get with that. And it's just absolutely crazy the technology. I generate a 3d barbarian and it's 5X better than the best barbarian I modeled myself years ago. I am replacing myself as a hobbyist, but I have a sens... sorry this is long... I do have some ego and sense of honour, this AI trip is 3 months in now and I'm starting to get ready to making my own stuff again and just be inspired like images from google and sh*t I see in real life.
