There might be a bubble, but it’ll be different than the internet one. The basic functionality of the internet (connectivity) scaled linearly and the essential benefit it provided didn’t change over time. AI is scaling on some degree of an exponential curve, and its functionality is increasing at the same time. People are doubtless overspending in the desperate race to reach SGI, but the underlying utility of AI is increasing rapidly.
