Character Ai is genuinely depressing. The people who use it are sad, vulnerable, and lonely. And the people who create the services are intentionally trying to take advantage of these people. I don’t shame anyone who uses these Ai characters chats, but if you do, you should stop convincing yourself that it’s normal.
