Consider this, humans do not have fully developed minds. Our minds are capable of telepathy, psychism, proper intuition not the gut feelings you mother spoke of… think, about the Taoist masters that can channel life force with their minds… mind is not in our brains. How can a materialist ever know what mind is capable of if they believe that human minds are contained in the body. Anyway, AI will never have cosmic consciousness as it will never attain the Buddhic state of consciousness. Humans virtually know nothing of wisdom, love (not the romantic/sympathetic love), astral planes, or the subtle bodies… hopefully when AI takes our jobs humans will become more curious of the arcane wisdom tradition and potentially cultivate a refined state of mind beyond the concrete materialistic obsession.
