As an old guy with old skills, I am a Blacksmith, and a Mechanic, and I do all my own plumbing. I have no fear of AI. The only way I use it is in photography editing. Yet another skill AI could never replace as it has no feelings. But heres my million dollar question. People need to work, for most people on earth it's a major part of their existence. So why replace them? ..............Money? But this in the end will bite us in the ass. Covid proved we don't want people spending too much time at home thinking for them selves. Surely the cost of entertaining and controlling the masses will far out weigh the profit? Last question, what drives AI? at the moment I guess it's profit for the company using it. But when it takes over, what will be their motive. Money will mean nothing? Family will mean nothing. Nationality will mean nothing. Surely in the end it will just switch it's self off.
