He is forgetting about lawyers and common law. I can see tons of cases were laws, regulations and potential liability is going to prevent implementation of fully automated AI systems. I can see groups of lawyers seeking to capitalize from a bad implantation of AI and creating legal precedents. AI There will be tons of incentives to keep humans in the loop because of this. Also the traditional "Throat to Choke" blame shifting from senior management to lower echelons of organizational hierarchies, the human to human interaction, vanity , potential political unrest (does anybody remember during the great depression when people got paid to dig ditches?), religious dogma, etc, etc.
