I'm not sure if I get what the answer to the question ultimately is. The market will be working the same as now except it will be smaller, because it will only consist of rich company owners with AI workers and they're just gonna be buying and selling things from each other? While everyone else is living off of the money the government collects from taxes and gives to them?
What if we're in capitalism, so there's no government redistributing the wealth? Not every company produces luxury goods. In many branches, like food industry, companies are rich because they sell their products to many customers, not because their products are expensive. If only the few rich people are gonna be buying food, food companies won't be rich. If they want to be rich, they'll have to expand their customer base and for that they'll need the masses to be able to afford their products.
