"$40B investment, 95% 'failed to deliver measurable ROI" - imagine if companies spends or pays humans ... there would be more work & cashflow in economy to go around~
lost of entry level jobs hiring - we are going to lose a Generation of young talents ... and to build and gain that experience up to a 10 yrs expert ~ that would be Gone! (as an engineer, i know.)
Accountability - you try go tell your customers, it was the company AI who screwed up the coding ... see how they react and how your bosses would makes you explains or answer for it (s mistake~)

Companies shouldn't just base on 'estimates' of number games how 'effective' AI can be ... it is a tool to help experts develop codes faster, but you'll still need a human to read through and confirm.
