I’d have to understand this case a bit more, but from I can gather here, it seems the cop did nothing wrong, and isn’t ever obligated to show someone their evidence, and it’s true that the female really couldn’t do or say anything that a cop could use in order to negate the summons right there on the spot. Court would deal with untangling things. Having said that, I agree that these things need to be highlighted in actual precedent, so that traffic cams are not sufficient evidence to lead to probable cause. Whatever tech was faulty, or whatever conclusions became faulty, is where the battle is. We need cops to stop being able to rely on ai. But this cop is just doing his job, seems like.
