Re-train for what?
Between offshoring, automation, etc, there won't be any jobs left to re-train for.
There's only so many STEM jobs available and some people just aren't STEM material intellectually.
Automation can be nice, but for there's nothing nicer than hearing a caring human voice on the other end of the phone when you call customer service or you doctor, therapist, etc.
