No. And they will never gain consciousness. Anyone with any basic background in computers science knows that computers do exactly what we tell them to do, any never anything more or less. This isn't Westworld, we can make them appear like in Westworld eventually, but the jump to consciousness is scientifically impossible. It's in the name AI. Artificial.
