So many ignorants against UBI. In the future there will be hundreds of millions of jobs lost around the word due to automation. What else do you propose? Force those people into shitty artificially created jobs just so they won't stay home? Or ban automation altogether? How many of you who are against UBI actually had a shitty job that paid below 200$/month (yes, those salaries actually exist in the real world, not in your own little bubble)? Try living with that shitty salary for a few years, and see how it is to feel you have your hands tied behind your back and hope that your health won't fail you anytime soon. With such a low income you won't have any room to try and build a better life for yourself. It's like being trapped in a shit-hole. And believe me you ignorant simpletons, you might work just as hard at a 200$/month job as you do at a 5000$/month job. So get your heads out of your asses, get outside your little bliss-filled bubbles, and see the world for the mess it really is. For most people, honest hard work doesn't even insure survival. So UBI is the best thing that could happen to them. Because it gives people in such situations the crucial room they need to improve their lives. Yes, there will be lazy people who won't move a finger and they will be considered parasites. But most will have their lives improved in ways they could have never hoped otherwise. And compared to the greedy, extreme capitalism you all so joyfully embrace and which is currently destroying the planet and screwing you from behind, there are some democratic countries on this planet that embrace socialism. And not coincidentally, they always come first in living standards charts.
