Dude, this is when we move to the hyperloop, and roads become used purely for sport purposes.
Install the hyperloop in place of the countries road system, all the vehicles move automatically, nobody can get into the road w/out being in a vehicle, and the roads get to be used for awesome things like downhill skateboarding and drag races.
