Google had driverless cars for 3 - 4 years on the roads and no accident or even traffic violation.
If everybody was driving a driverless car, it would be safer. No guy rolling at 2 times the speed limit. No cutting people off. Cars communicate with each other and open passages for other cars to get in automaticly. No rage and you can stop wasting 3 hours of your day, every day, looking at a road when you could be working or having fun.
