Unless these robots are hook to a direct power supply, it will take constant breaks to recharge its batteries. Cell phone don't hold much of a charge if you use them continuously and pretty sure these robots would be the same and will be drained before the end of the workday. Then again robots don't need to go home to families and could work through the night and switch out with a fresh powered robot while the other recharges. I know my job is safe for now since the technology is still not at a level to do my job but can't say the same with other jobs that don't require much thought like retail/truck driver/lawyers, professional sports etc. When robots can design infrastructure, read record/construction plans, read property survey easements, diagnose problems, and know how to fix it, (critical thinking skills) then I would be worried. I would be too old, retired, or dead by that time unless technology had made significant advancement my brain could be implanted on a robot but then again I am not an individual who seeks internal life.
