I find it interesting that he mentioned human cops vs robot cops. If suppose an ai without emotion functioned as the police, would it still stereotype based on averages of crime data? My guess is it would generally operate in similar ways to cops now, except without any cases of abuse. It would target the low income mostly black areas in the US, as it knows that's where the highest rates of crime happen. But I wonder then, would people call the machine racist? What incentive does a machine have to be "racist"? All interesting things to come in the 21st century, what a great time to be alive that we're at this level of technological advancement.
