Well open source has always limited the extent to which big tech can monopolize the world. Competition is good for customers and will keep prices and megalomaniacs in check.
Personally I am starting to like Qwen Coder. Its like 90% as good as Anthropic Claude for 50x less token cost. They're onto something.
