I tested Claude code for a very simple project where it just had to take an entity and make an endpoint by basically seeing how I do it in code and do something similar. Braindead stuff that just takes a bit of time.
It did the job somewhat, still needed corrections. I saved some time copy pasting shit, still had to read the code.
The idea that it will be able to write high performance code ON ITS OWN is ludicrous and will backfire in a costly way. I'm somewhat interested in seeing them fail catastrophically tho...
