Bingo! These companies are dumping all of their money into AI because they believe there's no other way to survive the next recession/depression except by being a leading power in the AI space. But when the entire thing hits a brick wall and progress grinds to halt. When the productivity gains are nowhere near as great as promised. When there's no more training data available to improve models and no more tuning advancements. When they can no longer afford to subsidize token costs. It's going to hurt. Bad. And I hope it crashes these companies. I hope Musk, Zuckerberg, Bezos, Altman, Huang, Amodei, and many others take massive haircuts if not bankrupted.
