The people most hyped for AI are the ones who aren't using it to build enterprise software. The higher ups use it generate an email and a slideshow then think AI can do anything. My company asks us to experiment and "if it breaks things that's okay." Except I'm pretty sure if this causes me to miss a deadline it suddenly won't be okay anymore. So I use it for boilerplate code, unit tests, code reviews, and docs currently. When things slow down I'll try some new things and see what works. Learning to use it effectively takes time and I've got enough on my plate I don't want to revamp my entire workflow at the same time and just cross my fingers
