Yep. It can be absolute dog shit ai, but as long as the layoffs dont bite them in the ass within a year, they will do it.
It will take exceptionally long for these orgs to see the customer base impacts because of how walled garden modern software is. Customers arent flighty, there arent always workable alternatives without a massive investment. So it takes a catastrophic failure not the small incremental failures that pile up from ai for customers to jump. So they just get to fire people and make everything a little worse, bit by bit.
