There are three distinct possibilities I think. 1) AI becomes self aware, decides to end humanity as quickly as possible. 2) AI is owned by one leader and he makes the entire planet his slaves and declares himself Earths emperor 3) AI builds and designs its own next/new computers, builds so much so quickly that we all have everything we possibly can have and now wonder about our meaning and purpose in life. Like, even if we do venture out into the stars…. Then what. Then we are out there just the same as we are here. Like. It’s really the same. I think AI is about to have a massive change on our world. Anyway. I think the technocratic feudalism thing is a real possibility. It was my number two but you said it better :)
