My husband is a professor and this is his first year teaching. He comes home absolutely devastated by the use of AI. He is genuinely worried about these college students and fears no one wants to work at ALL anymore.
He says no AI use in exams and assignments, and is more disappointed by the dishonesty than anything because it is usually obvious.
