I love this. However. I think students using AI is catching up with the number of teachers who are phoning it in. As a student I hated how homework was graded, especially for subjects like math. I understand looking for a completion grade, but homework is for practice and to understand where you need extra work. Why in the world would it be graded for correctness like a quiz or a test?! There's so much busy work that's turned in for a grade these days to the point where the assignments are devalued and don't' actually exercise your mind. On another note, I recall going to the student help center in college to get help understanding a question on some homework, one very specific question out of dozens that I just couldn't understand. Everyone including the professor refused to help, because they couldn't assist on a homework. What the hell! Everything is graded in college, if you can't help with graded assignments what are all the tutors there for? If I had AI back then I could have actually gotten the help I needed. Of course it's by no means everything or all teachers. If the course and the teacher/professor are legitimate then there is no excuse to use AI to write papers for you. If they are putting in the effort to teach, then I will put in the effort to learn. But lazy teachers do exist and now lazy students have a work around. Edit: one word that autocorrected incorrectly.
