wtf is wrong with 5.1’s formatting style of endless dot points and repeat phrases!! Ever since 5.1 rolled out, the response style and formatting updates globally have severely downgraded into this new cheap, dopamine hit style of writing. Even when I instructed it to go back to the old style of balanced paragraphs and occasional dot points, it still gave me the same format of insanely jarring long dot point lists and staccato style phrasing. It keeps forgetting and reverting back to this annoying brain rot new style. This is doing my head in - literally I’m getting headaches using ChatGPT now . 4o, 4.1, 5 etc are all formatted like this for me now too.
