I assume you meant "A cartoon image of a chess board, with the starting position on the board."
Here's what it generated. The black queen and king are swapped, and it isn't the initial board position but rather 1. d4. It's hard to tell black and white apart (mostly subtle differences in clothing) but it is consistent (except for the kings which look effectively identical). So yeah, actually really damn close, I doubt you ever got a generation this good, but it's not quite perfect yet. I am really damn impressed still.
edit: the black king and queen are swapped, I incorrectly said white.
