I mean the precedent exists all over it’s basically settled that the AI’s are agents of companies that use them to interact with the public. OpenAI’s product is the AI and its danger to the public is completely predictable and entirely their own doing. A jury would find them liable in a heartbeat and the product liability laws are written in a way they will be allowed to proceed with this suit.
