Prime example currently being FLOCK cameras, some are owned by private entities and they all share that data with others. Courts have ruled that biometrics can be compelled to be used to unlock phones, not violating your fourth or fifth amendment rights. It's not far fetched to apply the same standard to a photo taken in public and used for this purpose.
