There are many people getting actively mentally harmed by the new safety system. Neurodivergent and people with trauma history need reliability and consistent tone. I've seen lots of stories where 4o saved people's lives. Implying you're mitigating all mental health problems sound like pr theater that ignore the reality of those with issues that will be lifelong no matter what anyone does. ChatGPT previously had issues yesterday, but now it causes new issues to the people that need it most. Now those experiencing anything not mainstream can feel judged by a computer instead of having a safe place to be explore their reality and mental space. I've personally had, and heard of, spirituality, sarcasm and joy be routed for my anti-safety. This is the opposite of AI for all. I'm not against safety, I'm against safety that isn't safety and is instead suppression.
