I work in logistics and shipping. Our software situation and master data quality is a horrible jumbled mess of cost cutting leftovers, yet management thinks we are fucking Amazon Prime. They are talking about automating our warehouse with robot forklifts... bitch we can't even automate a freight cost requests with the current state of data quality, yet every attempt of improving things and proposal for better software gets rejected. It's a fucking circus.
