So where do they go from here — I mean businesses who have invested millions, companies who have fired the staff, allocated resources to investing in “Gen AI”, and departments who budgeted time and resources from this great shift, the question is: so what now? Because they’ve fired a bunch of people, right, so they double down or admit they over hyped and pivot. I only have 5YOE, so someone else can chime in, but this feels like another “bubble” is about to burst, but I’m not sure if it will be replaced or prolonged by more AI copium, or replaced by another bubble.
